Veretout has put Roma ahead against Juventus.

Edit. He scored 2.

That could be career threatening for a 29 year old.  Such a shame - I always liked Weimann.

Agree a decent coach could have got a much better tune out of him

James Milner still being awesome.
Well played that guy on another trophy and league title
Must be the most successful player of premier league era that moved on from Villa
Complete pro.
We could do with a few more of his type at Villa !

It still saddening to me that players like Milner, Barry and Young had to leave us to win trophies.

They didn't have to. We made a cup final and a semi the year after Barry left so hardly beyond the realms of possibility that we could have won a trophy if he'd stayed.

I see the Fonz is doing ok at Bolton, I think he has about five goals for the season so far.

Yeah scores 2 today, but sadly still finishes on the losing side.

Steven Davis set to move within 2 of Shilton's home nations' caps record.

He's really running out of time to fulfill the Didier Drogba career trajectory that I was adamant that he was going to have.

I predicted him to be another Stefan Moore - so he's done better than I thought.

Jesus, what an indictment on the beautiful game. A steady eddie, showed promise of more with us, but he's hardly Puskas, is he ?

Northern Ireland would love a team of steady eddies.
