Ex- Villa Players still playing watch
« on: August 22, 2011, 11:24:53 AM »
Well i'm wondering how people are with former villa players still currently playing either in english leagues or elsewhere . Find it quite interesting how players careers once they have moved on from villa.

I mean whilst I was watching Bolton V Man City I noted there were a few Ex villa players involved. Cahill Knight Reo-Coker Milner and  Barry.
Barry scored a cracker  :o

I noticed too West Brom @ Chelsea  how Shorey was looking rather inept defensively messing up for both goals

BRAD FRIEDEL - be interested to see if Brad plays tonight for spurs against Man Utd  this eve. And also in this game if ASHLEY YOUNG wil continue to assit. I notice he seems to be staying on his feet a little more

Another Man U Villa link Djemba Djemba - these days a main player for OB Odense hoping to get past Villareal in champions league qualifying this week

What ever happened to the great messiah that was Matty Berson?

Must go down in the Ivo Stas list of Villa greats

I always tried to check up on Juve when Mellberg was there. Think he's at Olympiacos now? Dwight Yorke did ok when he left us too. Which i was quite happy about because he was my favourite player growing up.

So the magazine four four two  does a 'boys a bit special' article interviewing those promsing upcoming players who will one day be world beaters and legend in own rite

A few years ago 'ozzy' Osbourne  was being touted as the new vieira

well he got released and is with SPL side hibs under ex villa player calderwood

a snippet of what ozzy said back in the day

In five years’ time
I’ll be flying high at Villa and hopefully knocking on the door of the England team

Well hes still only 23 so you never now isiah !

JPA was on fire with NYB back in the day
LA Galaxy not so

Howvere as a kinda roving attacker i think JPA will be fine with Chivas  scored on debut for Chivas in 2-2
he ll do a great job for the goats !

Check it out
"world class finish "

Actually check out some of these players and how special they think they are Routledge for one is delusional

Who do you play like
"I couldn’t really say anyone, you know. There’s only one Wayne Routledge"

http://fourfourtwo.com/interviews/boysabitspecial/default.aspx

Whilst Gards claims he was always a villa boy
(from 2007)
Club supported as a boy
I come from a family of Villa fans, so there was only ever one club for me. When I signed my first contract at Villa Park, it was a fantastic moment.

Remember him. We all hoped he would be the new Roberto Baggio, but he fell slightly short...
