Win, win!!I didn’t realise they still existed! Rushden and Diamonds, not Villa. They're a phoenix club now I think. The original merged club went bust.

Quote from: Skerra on June 28, 2025, 11:37:20 AMPercy, what a lovely story! Good luck to you and yourFamilyCheers Skerra, same to you.Thinking about it now, The Villa is and has been such a huge part of my life. I could easily have been one of Peter Morris’s little kids running about looking for Brian Little, as the ground was our adventure playground around that time on weekdays and in summer holidays, and we did manage to get into some corridors on our adventures. Things only intensified in my teenage years, when I made hundreds of friends there and got into many scrapes going home and away. I then worked there for over twenty years, and as I say, met my future wife there while selling the fanzine on Trinity Road. Two of my books are heavily Villa-centric. Like The Beat, I just can’t stop it.

I’d have thought Percy would have a biography on Diego Carlos in the works.
Chapter 7: "Get tighter to Delap you daft twat"
