Rogers McGinn and Kamara ran the show. Martinez deserved that clean sheet, playing with injury , long periods with nothing to do apart from keep warm made a good save which is standard for him. Good couple of home wins.

Cross stop maybe? Because officially, he didn't have a save to make.

Yes, the cross was the only thing I remember him doing.

Not surprising, as we wheeled out our clean sheet defence. Carlos has played in 15 of our last 21, Konsa at RB in 13 of those. The last clean sheet Carlos didn’t contribute to was Chelsea in the Cup last January.

Kamara was superb, if we could get Onana along side him we could really start to dominate teams.
I think I'd be a little concerned how the ball was going to move forward without either Youri or Barkley as one of the pair, especially as we've seen that if the CF works to stop Pau getting on the ball we can struggle even with one of them.
Disagree PW: both Kamara and Onana have a decent pass and see the forward options.
One of our problems going forward is the lack of a decent right-wing outlet (since our current options - Bailey and Philogene - are simply not at the level required) and the fact that Rogers seems to get heavily marked by many of our opponents. Get better movement further forward and the Bouba-Amadou combo will work fine.

We also have a contender for the wettest, windiest and coldest fixture ever.

Up there with Oldham for wind chill.

It was only my lads 4th ever game, and his first win. I was saying to him that I'd been going to the game for what seems like forever and that was as cold and wet as I'd ever been. He replied that 'yes its the coldest and wettest he'd ever been at his games, but it was still brilliant'

Makes it all seem worthwhile, nearly.

Top stuff, the pride and relief when you realise they are hooked...

That Dibling is like a budget clone of peak Grealish. Looks like Forest went to the same factory and ordered one too .

Budget? At 18 Grealish was playing in League One for Notts County. His starring FA Cup semi appearance came when he was a year older than Dibling is now, and we considered him a “kid” even then.

Jack didn’t really come into his own as a genuine star talent until we were relegated and in the Championship,

Dibling is putting in great performances week in week out in the Premier league, right now, at 18.

This may be as good as he ever gets, but if he can play like this at 18, my guess is he’ll be at a top club within a year, and a regular full international by the time he’s in his very early 20s.

Agreed, I think he looks top class and is far better than Grealish at that age. He will defintely get snapped up in the summer. Interesting to see where he goes and for how much. Given relegated teams generally get fleeced, I think he will be an excellent buy for someone.

Another one with great feet and deceptively quick . He made one run with the ball where Digne and philogene could lnot get near him and kamara had to make a last ditch tackle .  I like him a lot

I’d love us to get him, unless we think Broggio can be somewhere near as good.

I expected it to be Liverpool as it has been awhile since they last used their other South Coast feeder club.

If Ollie started, then he would have been subbed for Duran in the second half.

It's becoming apparent that Philogene just isn't up to it and with Bailey form swinging wildly we really need some top class wide players. It's something we've lacked this season and it's a testament to Emery's ability that we sit 5th today

We could also play Tielemans in the 10 position with Rogers SJM either side.
