El Ghazi what a penalty taker !
And of course a play off hero!

One for those even older than me - the Gerry Hitchens derby.
Same as above (Leighton Phillips) .
But I remember seeing Leighton Phillios play - Hitchens was well before my time.
Yes you might but many won't remember Leighton . Great centre half a ball player not physical , like Torres in some ways .

So who else apart form El Ghazi , Robinson, This Gerry Hitchens  and Leighton (and the awful chambers) played for Villa and Cardiff?
The centre back James Collins perhaps ?
Stick Dean Saunders down

jaden phillogene had a season with us

The older Colin Gibson and going further back Frank Moss senior.

Just need to see the Maguire goal to confirm the corruption .
Then the ings / Ramsey goal up there a couple years ago when VAR was in play and they used it to the max . Haha . So corrupt .

What’s the Manchester ‘Foxes’ reference about?

The offside goal to beat Leicester.

Also James Collins (English one), although don't think he ever played for our first team.

Was Uncle Albert at Cardiff?

Surely this will be 3pm Saturday.

I'd have thought 12.30 or 5.30. it will be on TV and they obviously can't show 3pm Saturday.

Does BBC Wales still get a pick? We're TV choice by default, if so.

Got to have Alan Wright at LB. He played 7 games on loan at Cardiff.

It was never founded as an "English" league. Scotland started its own league in the 1890s but Wales didn't get around to founding one until 1992. The majority of Welsh clubs moved over to play in it but the bigger clubs stayed in the English system. A couple of Scottish clubs, Gretna and Annan Athletic, formerly played in the English non-league system.

The whole issue around who would play in the League of Wales got nasty in the early 90's.  Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham were never going to play in it, but the FAW tried to force the clubs playing in English non-league football like Merthyr to join and a very bitter dispute followed as they didn't want to.

The great Trevor Ford would have to feature in a team of players who played for both clubs.

The chances of being drawn at home are 50-50 every draw.

And who gives a fuck about UTD?

I wish for 2 things from this draw.
1. We win.
2. El Ghazi gets re absolute hero’s reception he deserves

Apart from when SGT came back with Watford after his first stint for us, I’m trying to think of such a big return ?
