Well draw out 3rd
2nd tie so got that prediction of within first four ties
Number 16 Cardiff -so the shuffle wasn’t up to much!
Especially as 15 came out 3rd tie
Do you understand the concept of randomness, or are you implying it was fixed?

One for those even older than me - the Gerry Hitchens derby.
Same as above (Leighton Phillips) .
But I remember seeing Leighton Phillios play - Hitchens was well before my time.
Yes you might but many won't remember Leighton . Great centre half a ball player not physical , like Torres in some ways .

I do.  Man United getting 50 of their last 57 cup draws at home.

Oh no , it's just coincidence  :)

It IS a coincidence, nothing more. Suggestion of any thing else is pathetically obsessive nonsense.

It is of course a coincidence but if true, it's a pretty BIG coincidence.

The first game I ever saw at Villa Park was against Cardiff city top of the table class old second division 1959/60;we won 2:1.  I hope we repeat the feat and move into rd6

I have to admit I'm a tad worried, the Cardiff fans seemed absolutely delighted with the draw, maybe they know something we don't!

They've heard great things about the hospitality packages at VP.

They recently had 12 home draws on the spin, at a combined odds of 4,094/1.

That's nothing, I think the odds on them getting 50 home draws out 57 are 545,094,209/1.

I believe the odds of them getting at least 50 home draws out 57 are only 472,064,426/1.

So it's just a coincidence really.

Imagine both sides get to the final and win the cup how amazing would that be!

And it also drives a rather large coach and fucking horses through the Law of mathematical probability.

El Ghazi what a penalty taker !
And of course a play off hero!

So who else apart form El Ghazi , Robinson, This Gerry Hitchens  and Leighton (and the awful chambers) played for Villa and Cardiff?
The centre back James Collins perhaps ?

Ok it's pathetically obsessive nonsense to question the probability of this . Move on we've been told , nothing to see here . Great goal Maguire also played on definitely.
