I lure them in with UEFA coefficient sweet talk then, when they're getting comfortable, scrape all the butter of their sandwiches to seal the deal.

I'm against butter on sandwiches, but scraping it off is a false economy. Once you butter, you cannot go back.

There is no such thing as de-buttering.

What the fuck is wrong with this place recently?

There is one method of de-buttering and one only, that I'm aware of.

If, like me, you want to apply butter to your toast when it's still at its hottest, you can take an estimated portion of butter per slice and put aside (on the paper or, if appropriate, the tub lid) to save time and allow it to warm up a little as your bread is toasting.

Sometimes, as it turns out, you might find that you have adequately buttered your toast with a certain amount of the pre-allotted butter remaining.

Having first wiped the knife on a piece of kitchen roll, you may then return the unused butter to the pad/tub without any risk of crumb contamination.

I came here to educate myself on coefficients but I’m staying for the buttering debate.

Once you butter you can’t go back. You can only add more which can be delightful if managed properly. And fuck right I’m putting a mountain of bacon on after.

Shameful. Never trust a country that calls itself British but would rather watch icy stick fighting than enjoy the simple pleasure of a good forward defensive stroke.

Ok, but the question is whether it not you butter your toast when it's hot, and making the butter melt and disappear, or, wait for the toast to cool before buttering, thus having very apparent lashings of butter and it is less messy.

What's the point of toasting the bread if you're just going to turn it into a soggy mess?

Knockout round draws happening at 1100. Still won't know our opponents though.
