The prices will reflect that. Other clubs have been in the CL for decades & their prices reflect that. It's not a straight comparison. You could argue there's a balance between getting maximum revenue & rewarding loyalty but the club are obviously targeting the former & it's no coincidence the article in the Athletic was released today. There is no excuse for our prices - Newcastle were in the same position last season, and charged significantly less. The club could charge £20 less per ticket and it won't make that much difference to the PSR position. Lots of fans (myself included) are already having to make choices about which games to attend this season, and with these prices a trip to watch the Bayern game will mean as a family we won't be able to afford at least a couple of league games. Is Heck that confident we will sell out against the likes of Bournemouth, Brentford or Southampton? Yes we will probably sell out the CL games, but don;t be surprised if we have thousands of empty seats at other matches as a result.

They'll have been sold, but just not taken up. Couple in front of me never do the first couple of home games every year.

Horrendous prices, club should be ashamed.
Article in The Athletic;https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5744092/2024/09/04/aston-villa-refuse-request-from-fan-advisory-board-to-cap-champions-league-ticket-prices/"Aston Villa refused a request from their own fan advisory board (FAB) to cap the price of Champions League tickets with the cheapest adult entry now starting at £70."
Jon Darch@SafeStandingRSBy comparison, as a Union Berlin fan I paid €75 for a 3-match Champions League 'season ticket' last year (i.e. €25 per game, carriage and presentation souvenir pack included).Pricing in England really does need looking at.
