Early days I know, but has anyone got any insight as how ticketing may go ref CL games..do we think they'll do a bundle offer like last seasons games in Europe...I very much doubt it..

Why wouldn't they offer a bundle deal?

I think when we renewed STs there was an announcement saying they weren't doing bundles for CL Group games like they did for Conf games. In addition they were pushing the Auto ticket buying cup scheme.

Wasn’t it also in the fan advisory meeting minutes?

Because they'd make more money selling them game by game.

Plus they gave us the option of signing up for them automatically with no return option when we bought our season tickets.

If enough people said yes to that…  :o

You just need to watch the old firm now to see how noisy their fans are. Hopefully we would have either qualified or celtic are out as couldnt stomach losing to them

We could qualify, they could be out and we could still lose to them. So not sure what that would do for your stomach.

Or that we beat them, obviously.

I can't bear the thought of attending a match where the opposition fans might engage in singing. Terrifying stuff, won't sleep tonight.

That's why I thought they'd do it this year if they did it last year. Shame really.

There's a website - SeatPick "offering" tickets now:

Bayern £216+
Juve £212+
Bologna £186+
Celtic £186+

No idea how, or where they're getting these prices from, but the site says:

"Here on SeatPick we currently have 3,713 Aston Villa Champions League tickets for sale, with prices kicking off at £84."

They're also offering tickets to the away fixtures.

Talking last night with friends about Celtic at home being the last game in qualifying. If both teams have a chance of progressing then it will be the noisiest match Villa Park has seen, and the fact Celtic have the easiest draw makes it a possibility. We also need to factor in that if Celtic need a result the number of fans they bring down will increase.
From a football perspective Bayern and Juve are bigger games, but as an event and atmosphere wise Celtic will be the best night...and they seem to do OK in these battle of Britain games..time someone gave them a shoeing...

Come January they’ll be snowed in. Besides, we’ll have already qualified and resting the first team for the FA Cup.

They'll still be hung over after Hogmanay, I'll be surprised if they sell out their allocation.

They treat these Auld Enemy games like no other lol, and took 80,000 away to Seville in 2003, I'm sure they'll sell out the away end..

“SeatPick is the largest ticket search engine and ticket marketplace for live events”. Looking at their site they don’t seem to actually sell the tickets themselves but match sellers and buyers.
