A pre Christmas trip to Leipzig looks ace.

Do they have a Birmingham XMas Market?

The full fixture list. Possibly something we will be paying particular attention to as we reach the last couple of games.

I quite enjoyed the period last season where we were paying attention to the coefficient. It made other games in Europe something to be invested in. This league format could be really good, assuming it's not already decided after like 3 rounds.

I'm not sure how 24 places can be decided in three rounds.

Oh, and coefficients will also be back for this season as well to determine four of five places next season so you also still have that.

England currently top that.

So if english teams do well 5th will get CL great.

Chelsea should go far in conference

You would imagine citeh will go far in this cup

Spurs probably go far in europa too

Good chance for extra CL spot

Young Boys 1 Lausanne 1

Champions the last two seasons.
6 games in and they are bottom of the Swiss league without a win.
But they beat Galatasaray in both legs to qualify.

We lost to legia first away game so i think we would have learned a lot from that. We will need something there as having bayern next we dont want to be having 0 points after 2 games.

Why are they called ‘Young Boys’ not ‘Junge Jungs’ ?

Could be an interesting game against Monaco, their manager is Adolf Hutter..had to read that twice...hopefully they don't try and out flank us..

Talking last night with friends about Celtic at home being the last game in qualifying. If both teams have a chance of progressing then it will be the noisiest match Villa Park has seen, and the fact Celtic have the easiest draw makes it a possibility. We also need to factor in that if Celtic need a result the number of fans they bring down will increase.
From a football perspective Bayern and Juve are bigger games, but as an event and atmosphere wise Celtic will be the best night...and they seem to do OK in these battle of Britain games..time someone gave them a shoeing...

Come January they’ll be snowed in. Besides, we’ll have already qualified and resting the first team for the FA Cup.

Why are they called ‘Young Boys’ not ‘Junge Jungs’ ?

Named in tribute to Basel based club called "Old Boys", who presumably took their inspiration from the various British "Old Boys" named teams.

Quote
In 1876 the gymnastics teacher at the then secondary school, Adolf Glaz, founded the RTV/Realschüler-Turnverein (secondary school student gymnastics club). In 1893 he introduced his students to the new football game. From then some members of the club met regularly during the summer and autumn holidays and the RTV had a football team. When the students finished school, they could no longer be members of the student association. That is why they founded their own football club in 1894. Since they founded the club because they had become too old for the school club, they called the new club the "Old Boys".

Early days I know, but has anyone got any insight as how ticketing may go ref CL games..do we think they'll do a bundle offer like last seasons games in Europe...I very much doubt it..
