He's fucked.

I think part of it is a run of poor form too
The usual over-reaction from many. This team, this manager, are delivering our best season for a long long time. It’s really simple - we are just out of gas. If you want to find fault in that, knock yourself out. We will finish 4th and that far outweighs my expectations last August. There is so much to look forward too.

That’s not a break of any significance, and the midfield is massively overstretched.
It's purely mental.Jaffa cakes, skittles, Pre, Beta Alanine, maybe not all the above, although your face twitching can be kinda fun, will all help a sore and battered body embrace the "1 more" mindset. The body can take a lot of punishment in sport. But only if the mind is willing. What we're doing is novel for a lot of these players. Looking in two directions, this deep into the season, where pressure is building as margins for error increase. They've not done it before.Remember when you were learning to drive and you'd sweat like a mother fucker, not because you were doing anything physically strenuous, but because you were doing something out your comfort zone. Like a low achiever at work that you're supervising shitting the bed over something trivial. It's the same; mentally exhausting. McGinn trying a Hollywood outside his skill set, when a 5 yard pass to Bailey makes more sense. That's between the ears, they break. Penalty. Emi Martinez, Yuri Tielemans have medals in the cabinet. That exprience brings a calmness, which we need back in the XI desperately. They don't sweat when they drive anymore than you; been here done it, muscle memory, barely have to think. Easy. That's what we have to get through now. And we will.
Insipid. Olsen Motm nothing else to say it was so indescript. Onwards to Thursday…
