There was an air of resignation in the away end yesterday, with little blaming of players just a sense of frustration that they were tired after Thursday. The big question for me is whether the players are temporarily knackered following a bad result in a tough game against Olympiacos or whether they are running on empty after 50 games.

I have no doubt fatigue is playing a part, but I'm also confident Unai can lift the players for three more games (maybe 4, if we're very lucky).  We haven't lost back-to-back league games all season, and I don't think we're going to start now.

If we’re suffering from fatigue and tiredness it’s not going to be any better on Thursday flying over there and playing another 90+ minutes

I was quite hopeful after last week’s game against Olympiacos that we could still get to the final but that hope has faded now after yesterday’s performance,
players were trying their best, but there was no zip to our play, they looked very lethargic and tired too shots the whole game is abysmal and does not fill me with any confidence for Thursday.
