He might turn out to be like Peter Withe.  Remember the time?

If he scored plenty of goals I’ll just say I just cant stop loving you. It’s just the way you make me feel.

I wish we'd announce a new signing, although I suppose it's unlikely as it's close to midnight.

With a wonder goal, something like a back-heal the world.

Las Palmas have made contact over a potential loan move for Leander Dendoncker — wages are currently presenting a stumbling block.
@J_Tanswell #avfc

Thank you, Mr steven Gerrard, for agreeing to £90k per week

It’s not a return to Las Palmas but he will play 7.

He’ll always be welcome in our house.

Are we still stuck with Kourtney then?

Chiesa for 10m thats a great deal surely would have been worth a punt at that price

He'd of been more useful to us than Iling Jnr I would have thought, certainly for this season.

It has been a bit of a baffling window.

Thats exactly it for me. Has CL experience that would ahve been very handy.  The deal by villa just looks wierd on reflection for me.

It might pay to reflect on it after a bit more time, maybe?

My issue though dogtanian is that if illing jr was to be used to help this season and help us in CL (where he has experience) then it would have made more sense for me. I thought chiesa wouldnt have been a option hence why we went for illing jr.

Think chiesa would have been a great signing for 10m.  I think he is going to be excellent for liverpool and we could regret not opting for him

Liverpool have a lot more financial muscle than us, though. So if that's the kind of club he had the option of, we would have had to offer him a very good package to come to us.

It's all a balancing act and a puzzle, and we won't have an idea how well we've done for at least 12 months or more.

Chiesa only became an option when they signed Koopmeiners the other day. For that price though I wonder if they are freeing up his wages or have concerns about long term fitness, or even another Tonali situation.

Edit: The BBC also states he was dropped from Juve plans as their manager likes a high press, which is also what Emery wants so Chiesa wouldn't have been a fit anyway it seems.

Dunno about that, they've been trying to offload him all summer.
