West Ham and Everton take it in turns with the crown.

On Sterling...

NO talks taking place with Arsenal or Aston Villa so far. ❌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

No, West Ham is where they bury them.

I'd love to see how many one on one's and sitters sterling has missed

There's plenty of compilations on twitter Chelsea fans put together last season.

He did it against us didn't he, take the shot on rather than pass to a teammate for a tap in?

We have become very young in certain areas. Whjile we have high hopes for Rogers, JJ, Jaden etc. they will have dips in form as the pressure of top competition ramps up. Having a bit more savvy, leadership, experience at the club will be invaluable. Whether it is Sterling or someone else of his experience and standing in the game, we need more of it.

I wouldn’t use the words savvy or leadership in respect of Sterling.

Who's the actual back up for Bailey who will miss games with knocks?

Yes SJM can play out wide but plenty of games we'll need his experience central (Arsenal away last season) when injuries hit or the opposition require it.

It's great to have JPB back but potentially starting away to Real Madrid or Barca in a few months will be a little different to playing for Hull v Rotherham so I'd prefer another experienced player in the squad.

I don't rate him that highly but Bailey with Sterling as back up for a CL night sounds exactly what we should be doing and it then gives flexibility to start Sterling in the league fixture 3-4 days later.

Currently though due to the relationship between the two clubs it just reads as Chelsea have offered us him, we're not that interested and he'll just be loaned out to someone abroad.

Who is JPB?

I find people getting his name wrong equally tiresome, with added disrespect. But thanks for your input, whatever your name is. I forget, and I hold you in such low regard, I can’t be bothered to look up and get it right

Considering he’s been on our books for 6/7 years and was always known under his previous name until very recently it’s hardly surprising that people get his name wrong and it’s not as though no one knows who’s being talked about.
Disrespect…ok. I’m sure you’ll be pulling people up on Joe, Ratface and any other non official name that anyone cares to call players. God forbid anyone mentions Andy Cole.

Stirling was moved on by City, joined Chelsea where he has not been great. Considering we finished well above them last season, why would we want him? He’s on a down trajectory and massive wages…avoid.

None of them play for us. It isn't that difficult to avoid using a name that a player doesn't want to be called by.
