Because this is a thread where we discuss signings and the discussion is based on do we need to replace either of those players.
It's not rocket science.

We are not talking about them out of context we are discussing buying a right back and moving konsa back to centre back OR buying a centre back and converting Konsa to a right back on a regular basis.
Okay, that makes sense in that respect. It's only a fair assumption that there would be more transfer talk going on here, and players' names to transfers in would be mentioned rather than current players. Hopefully, posters will all figure out what's best for each thread and where to place it for discussion.
I anticipate most eagerly transfer talk,  because I enjoy reading other people's speculation and perspectives as much as opinions on the media rumours.
When there are proposals on players to come in  I can see what others are thinking on what could improve the squad and starting 11 rather than discussing current players.

Okay, I'll move on from my comment but it can be all confusing if there's a lack of transfer talk in a transfer thread during a transfer window.
It's fair enough to agree to disagree on this one.

Up The Villa!

Jesus!

Yes guys how dare you discuss anything else other than a click bait rumor, an assumption we want sergi because he's on a free and Felix who we've done nothing but discuss for a week just to keep footy happy.

Also how dare you delete the Douglas Luis thread after all he did for us.
There are specific threads on Konsa and Cash I don't know why they aren't used to talk about their roles and positioning and then this thread is left to discuss the transfer speculation
And regards Douglas Luiz yes I was away on vacation and then next thing there's no where to discuss him.
Yet threads like Callum Chambers who didn't make same impact on me or Aston Villa are still available.
I will be away again soon  before season start but just wanted some clarity because then it's easy for all to follow for purpose of discussing that's all.

I won't be alone in wanting to read transfer topics on a transfer thread. I was just offering a solution so everyone can be happy.

Please, please, please stop going on all the time about the organisation of the threads.

Please.
Ok. And we have the same feeling but on different issues.
It's exactly the way I feel about people not using the specific player threads but ok i understand theres an idea to have some flexibility it doesn't suit my rule book but it's not my rules and no one is breaking any rules so ok sure. No furthermore comment if non transfer talk is discussed here. Such talk will make it's way back around as expecting a few more incomings !

Point taken , message understood !

I see the Footy departure announcement has been made. Where would we all be without that in our lives?

The Brighton away game (0-1) is one that sticks in my mind and reminds me why Konsa should only play RB as a very last resort .

Man city and Arsenal at home as a counter punch, Arsenal away for that matter. Anyone can pick games to try and prove their point.

I mainly think we gained loads with Pau coming in but lost loads without Mings. The konsa RB discussion is a but of a red herring

I really do like him and think he'd suit us but he doesnt seem to be the kind of player we're short of at the minute.

Yh he's a player I do like!

However it wouldn't make sense at the moment as we are a bit flush with players who can work on the wings.

Bailey
Philonge
Rogers
Ramsey
Illing Jr

I feel like I'm missing someone too

This would be a great move.
Say that happens Morgan Gibbs White , and signed another Morgan for the men's team well along with Rogers then could nickname for all 3 male footballers would be:
Morgan Freeman.

Yes Lewis Dobbin.
It's a very strange signing and wonder why he was transferred in at all

Dobbin was pretty anonymous.
What's the deal with this Dobbin ?
I mean those financial moves seem to have left us with some unbalance by bringing him in.
And seemingly anonymous now by reports!

A 27 minute appearance in a pre season friendly?

SEND HIM BACK.

Well, maybe that's the case as it was a not-so-hidden swap deal for Tim Iroegbunam, so at season end, like other deals for our young gems Philogene and Archer we have seen, the transfer is reversed?

So perhaps he's here for just one season and sees the exchange back for next season if it doesn't work out or play the required number of games? That would make sense.
Or is Dobbin some hope that he's Antony Gordon standard?
Why bring Dobbin out of all the players? He's not needed in that position and can he really be a champions league level player instead of Diaby ?

I think Gibbs-White would be an alternative to Felix.

Duran and Diaby need replacing.
Why not both ?

I don't think we'd have the PSR wriggle room for both.
