A centre back very much on the cards provided we move Carlos out

Unai would love to upgrade Cash also

Other than that, after Onana is done we will very much look for 1-2 forward types (with duran going also) A forward who can play with Ollie and also centrally by himself if needed

Weve been linked to Biere (ive not heard it mentioned directly) but his type is very much what we are after

All in all, expect another 2 big signings

Nice update, thanks - so has interest in Baena gone away now?

Celtic are on the verge of signing Viljami Sinisalo from Aston Villa on a permanent deal.

I'd like to say £20m, but I suspect it's gonna be for a box of highland toffee and a couple of copies of Braveheart on VHS.

Love that Hans Klopek is in the crowd at the bottom right.
That photo never ceased to amaze me. I love the bloke in the top left who has the reddest face known to man
That would make a great jigsaw puzzle.

Wouldn’t surprise me. He’s not one we’re actively trying to sell but if a huge offer comes (essentially double what we paid) then we’d listen/take it. Think he’s not overly settled and Emery/Monchi think we could replace with someone better suited to the system

That seems a strange move for Sinisalo, seeing as Celtic are supposed to be signing Kasper Schmeichel

There's concerns for Kasper's future though what with his hurty finger.

That would be a shame as was hoping he’d be part of the squad this season - presume it will be a low fee with buy backs etc if he is a success up there

I quite like Emi B, but I think there’s some rose tinted reflection on his time this far. He’s had some lovely moments, but there’s been a lot of dross too.

Absolutely….he seems to have improved massively whilst being injured…like Diaby he was ok without excelling.  As record signings would expect more from both but in a world of shit or world class it seems you can’t just have done ok.

Agreed 100%.

If I was letting go of any of the wingers/number 10's, I would sell Buendia.

Milan turn to Aston Villa and Colombia forward Jhon Duran

A new transfer target has emerged for the Milan attack, as Sky Sport Italia claim they are ready to challenge West Ham for Aston Villa and Colombia striker Jhon Duran.

It is no secret that the Rossoneri have agreed terms with Alvaro Morata, who has a release clause with Atletico Madrid set at €12m and will have his medical in Madrid on Tuesday.

West Ham United have been heavily linked, but baulked at the €40m asking price, something that Milan would probably refuse to pay.

They will never pay what we want for him

Unless they plan to do a trade with a decent player, I have no idea why either Milan or West Ham are still sniffing around a player whose price they have "baulked at".

Either pay the fee or fuck the fuck off...

It's like me taking my savings & trying to buy Buckingham Palace.

Time wasting bellends.

Schmeichel turns 38 in November and even in the 2 horse race League of Glasgow is probably only good for 18-24 months.

Wonder if we'll include a Monchiesque "Philogene" clause in the sale contract?

A sell-on clause and  a buy-back clause enabling us to buy him back if we match the sale price to another club (less the sell-on %).

That way we can benefit if he becomes a top keeper and if not  then we've got an earner from the sell-on.

They are probably hoping we become sick of him and desperate to get rid...

I wouldn't want to see him moved on personally, as I would like to see how he develops in his second season, but if we are to sell, then Im glad to hear that it would only be for a significantly larger amount than what we paid for him.
