Do they still sell Tennant's Super? That stuff tasted like petrol.

Used to drink in The Grant, Cotteridge, many years ago.
A few regulars used to drink Snakebites made up of Tennants Super and Diamond White. God knows what it did to their stomachs but I’m sure it was responsible for the peeling varnish on the bar!
Made Trampbite once with said ingredients. Tasted surprisingly pleasant, but my word one pint of that and I had the worst hangover known to man the next day

So is trampbite just another term for snakebite? Is that what Luiz has been on these last few months?

Does Guiness actually taste better in Ireland? I've heard it stated so many times and I always think "can it really be THAT much better?" People make it sound like a whole new drink over there, and I like a Guiness, anyway. I guess it must be true for so many people to say it. It just always feels a bit exaggerated.

"Doesn't travel well" - to bring it back to Dougie Luiz (based on all of his goals last season being scored at home?!).

Nice work, didn't realise that (if true!).

Snakebite made with ingredients commonly associated with an 'al fresco' lifestyle. :)

The sweetness of the white cider mellows the tenants super. I'm not sure how to describe it, but was genuinely far more pleasant than I'd imagined it might be. I'd have happily drunk it as my sole drink of choice except I felt l ike death warmed up the next morning. Maybe it was a coincidence, but it was probably a good thing to knock on the head early anyway

It is a different drink over there , for a start it isn’t pasteurised.

A couple of times in college, we made snakebites using Carlsberg Special Brew and Scrumpy Jack, Didn't taste great and looked like someone had coughed phlegm in to the pint. Bulmers and poteen isn't a great mix either.
There was a pub on Lee Bank popular with students, The Greyhound, which served scrumpy. Mostly, it was mixed with black currant. They also had a Special Reserve, which was poured from bottles.
I memory serves, it was 12.5p a pint, so you get drunk for little more than 50p.
The Bluebell Cider House near Earlswood was a regular for me in my teens and early 20's. Wicked stuff.

It's hard to imagine that any fairly regular starter would want to leave a side in the CL that's managed by Unai.

Football Transfers@Transfersdotcom

Bayern are dragging their feet in the talks with Schalke starlet Assan Ouedraogo, according to
@Plettigoal
 😬

This has emboldened Man Utd, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Newcastle & RB Leipzig to make contact and present their sporting projects in recent day

He's had a few injury issues but my god he's a proper player that would significantly upgrade our options.
