McKennie, he wasn't much cop for Leeds was he? Has he been any use this season?

He's been great for Juventus this season. But someone who was good in Europe, failed in England and was then good in Europe again isn't the route we'll be taking unless it was really financially in our interest.

And this mooted thing definitely isn't that.

His versatility could be useful with so many games to come if he was cheap.

Would take a punt on mckennie as a straight swap with dendoncker and trust Unai would get a tune out of him but not anything to do with a deal for Dougie

Well yes but that’s quite the divergence.

Seems a fair price, assuming they value Doug at 200m.

McKennie is shit.

Last seen in the Premier League being subbed off whilst "you fat bastard" was chanted at him - by his own fans

I needed a couple of cans to keep me awake in the play off final, it was dreadful.

I work for a logistics company. Lots of our offices are where lorry depots are.

I was in one last week, and decided to check out the canteen - used mostly by drivers.

There was a standard wall-fridge unit containing your cokes, pepsi, tango fare, and then TWO absolutely fucking enormous ones choc full of every variety of energy drink you care to mention. Clearly, the drivers big fans of not falling asleep on the job.

When I was at college, a truck driver came out of his massive 18 wheeler and asked me for a light. He absolutely reeked of vodka. Hopefully that wasn't a canteen job.

I came out of a pub down by the Hippodrome once, saw a cab waiting the other side of the road, went over and noted the guy was sat there drinking a can of super strength lager.

Do they still sell Tennant's Super? That stuff tasted like petrol.

Used to drink in The Grant, Cotteridge, many years ago.
A few regulars used to drink Snakebites made up of Tennants Super and Diamond White. God knows what it did to their stomachs but I’m sure it was responsible for the peeling varnish on the bar!

A couple of times in college, we made snakebites using Carlsberg Special Brew and Scrumpy Jack, Didn't taste great and looked like someone had coughed phlegm in to the pint. Bulmers and poteen isn't a great mix either.

Can't imagine cheese curds and gravy going well into that.

There was a pub on Lee Bank popular with students, The Greyhound, which served scrumpy. Mostly, it was mixed with black currant. They also had a Special Reserve, which was poured from bottles.
I memory serves, it was 12.5p a pint, so you get drunk for little more than 50p.

Douglas getting linked with Juventus, potential swaps with two of their players, Soule and McKenna.

Juventus are taking the pee if they think there's any chance of that. Doug is in 50-60m category. McKennie was rubbish at Leeds and Soule is exciting young talent but was relegated with Frosinone.

They'd have to be paying us 40m for a start for Luiz and that's not what they tend to do nowadays. In terms of fits then Rabiot would suit us with the way we play but again he's coming up to 30 and high wages so unlikely.
