Quite like Sid Lowe, to be fair.

Lacey was anything but boring, however!

If you were a Spurs or Top 5 fanboy. I shouldn't speak ill of the dead so I'll leave it there but he was a poor excuse of a football reporter.

Not among places 41 to 100 in the Graun's world top 100.

Expect him to be in the top 40 as revealed tomorrow.

What a signing.

I like how they admit Foden is in it because he scored some four goals in the run-up to the selection.

Most overrated player in the league (I know I’m an outlier on this matter).
I am with you mate.

Foden isn't overrated at all imo. Genuinely a class footballer.

Who do you think is the most overrated player in the league?

And, by any chance, does his name rhyme with "Bollie Trotkins"?

He is a class footballer,  but he is also overrated. The two comments can be true at the same time.

Foden is excellent for ManC, he isn't the first, and won't be the last, to rarely replicate club form for his country.

John Barnes probably the best example in the time I've being watching.

They can, but the reality is definitely more the former than the latter.

He's one of the best players for one of the best teams in the league and has been since he was twenty years old. And now, in his mid-twenties he'd probably start for any club side in the world.

If someone says that he's the best player in the world, sure, that would be "over-rating" him. So the "two comments can be true" thing is correct, but I don't think anyone has elevated him to that sort of level.

Foden is a tough one because he's exceptional for Man City but really poor for England and I suspect if he went anywhere else it'd be his England form not his Man City form that he'd take with him. I don't know if that makes him overrated or not though.

The first time I saw Foden live was an England U21 game, he was the best player by some margin. Gone on to become a terrific player and I agree about the John Barnes comparison. Barnes suffered some shocking abuse at Wembley from England supporters, there was some coverage in the ' Do I not like that' program about SGT. Must have affected his performances.

Like John Barnes.

Phenomenal for Liverpool, about 3 good games ever for England.

I'd agree with this point.

Would Chelsea swap him for Palmer? No. Would you swap him for Rogers? No. Not me anyway.

I don't think either of those overrated.

Certainly don't as yet get the Colwill hype.
