Hysteria - plain and simple. There was a Villa fan on TS claiming he’d have preferred to win the CC than stay in the PL this year - holy fuck! I guess we want different things

I guess we want different thingsI am actually fed up of it all. We have something fans have been crying out for (as long as I can remember to my childhood days) great owners, a top manager and a round badge and it's just moan, moan, moan. Some seem to have short memories about the lows we have been on recently or the fact that we went 27 years without beating them at home. Yet it's moan, moan, moan that we didn't beat them twice in the space of 5 days.My point is, if we aren't patient now and aren't going to let this manager build something at our club with these owners then it's just not going to happen for us. This is our chance. But negativity always holds us back and I hate seeing it on so many threads so early in this manager's reign.

There was no good reason to play Olsen instead of Martinez, none whatsoever, and it played a huge part in us losing the match. Of course there's never any guarantee of winning a particular game, but you have to give yourself the best chance. I'm very happy we've got Emery, and I'm sure he'll be a big success but Thursday night's team was shit, and there was no real need for it. We've got one game left then a month off. He could have used the game to hone his message for the first team, instead we're going into a difficult away match on the back of a hugely demoralising performance and result.

I hardly think it was a hugely demoralising performance Risso. Now who's getting their knickers in a twist?
Errr…are you suggesting that there should be no critical view on a match where the current manager made a right hash of it?
