Might have past people by but the Fulham game was the mangers 50th league game in charge, his record is:
P50 W30 D8 L12 F92 A59 Pts98
This chap might be alright. This is how he compares to the other 30 Villa mangers:
Win Percentage
60% - Unai Emery
45.6% - Steve Bruce
45.6% - Tony Barton
45.2% - Jimmy Hogan
44.7% - Vic Crowe
43.8% - Ron Saunders
43.3% - Graham Taylor (Part 1)
42.0% - Alex Massie
41.2% - John Gregory
40.1% - Martin O'Neill

Loss Percentage
24% - Unai Emery
25% - Martin O'Neill
27.0% - Vic Crowe
27.7% - John Gregory
28.2% - Steve Bruce
28.7% - Ron Saunders
30% - Graham Taylor (Part 1)
32.5% - Jimmy Hogan
33.0% - Brian Little
34.2% - George Martin

Points per game
1.96 - Unai Emery
1.63 - Steve Bruce
1.56 - Graham Taylor (Part 1)
1.55 - Tony Barton
1.55 - Martin O'Neill
1.54 - John Gregory
1.45 - Brian Little
1.43 - Ron Atkinson
1.33 - Dean Smith
1.27 - David O'Leary

Goals for per game
1.84 - Unai Emery
1.79 - Jimmy Hogan
1.71 - Jimmy McMullan
1.65 - George Martin
1.65 - Joe Mercer
1.58 - Eric Houghton
1.52 - Alex Massie
1.48 - Ron Saunders
1.46 - Tony Barton
1.44 - Martin O'Neill

Goals against per game
0.99 - Vic Crowe
1.04 - Steve Bruce
1.04 - Brian Little
1.09 - Roberto Di Matteo
1.09 - John Gregory
1.11 - Ron Saunders
1.12 - Graham Taylor (Part 1)
1.12 - Ron Atkinson
1.15 - Tommy Docherty
1.17 - Martin O'Neill
1.18 - Unai Emery
Not bad but he's no Alex McLeish. Also for context Steve Bruce ruins that list he was an awful manager. He had the biggest spending budget of any championship manager. His points record is only in the championship and as such should be removed from the list.

He should be expunged from history.
He’ll always be there or thereabouts!

Unai Emery: “We are building, together, a winning mentality — fans & team. And as tempting as it can be to think of the injuries & setbacks as an excuse, we have a no excuse culture at this football club. We must be ready to win.”

Just makes sense that he stays here for years and builds a legacy.

Unai and Villa go together like fish and chips.

I love you Unai.

Man City deducted 600 points next season, Liverpool deflated without goofy, Arsenal uninspiring (most of the time) it has got to be worth putting a few quid on Villa to win the league next year under Unai.

Unai absolutely loves two goal leads, watching his reaction after the second and fourth goal.

Still can’t shake that nagging feeling that we’d be doing so much better if we’d persevered with Stevie as his mates urged us to do.

You'll drive yourself mad if you think too much about the what ifs, the unfulfilled potential of the little bits of magic that we would have been treated to. I guess we just have to accept the hand we have been dealt.

That's easy to say, but what if people just had looked the poor guy in the eye? He'd still be here, we soon wouldn't be, and he wouldn't have that multi-million contract in Saudi. It's a tragedy, is what it is.

Unai absolutely loves two goal leads, watching his reaction after the second and fourth goal.

And he absolute fucking loathes letting in soft arse goals. He went full on ballistic when they scored just before half time, and properly punted something miles down the touchline yesterday. If MacPhee had been within three feet of him, it would probably have been his bollocks!

He said something in his post-match interview about wanting a clean sheet, and building a win on that. So that's probably why he flipped his lid.

I love seeing how much us scoring our goals means to him though. A lot of managers try to stay level-headed and keep their cool but bollocks to that, having a manager celebrate as much as we do is a lot more fun to see.
