He’s some irrelevant prick who promotes gambling mainly on his feed. I’d sooner listen to football opinion from a park bench.

What he’s said rings fairly true with me.

Not a chance Unai gets found out.  He

We might get dicked by other teams - but that's not being found out, that's life.  There is not another manager in the world that would do a better job of managing our club and our squad

i'm not saying he's the best in the world, but anyone above him is.  And for managing an ambitious club with a lot of pieces in place he is 100% the best manager we could have.

I'm not saying he won't call things wrong - but he is the closest thing to being the perfect manager for our current situation possible.  If he and we can make it work we'll be building statues of him, and our kids will be talking about him.

I hate all the "trust the process" bollocks - but in my lifetime, he's the best thing to have happened to our club - and despite how it feels there has been a lot of good things.

Yeah I don’t think he’s found out, but I do think our style is hugely dependent on quality on the ball at the back. Pau is top class and I think he’ll make a massive difference.

The injury issues are limiting what he can do.

Unai has been fantastic for us, but injuries or not if the replacements cannot play the way you want surely you need another plan?

I don’t think Emery has been found out. He wouldn’t have been as successful as he has over so long and often at teams with less resources. But I think our current set up without Torres has been sussed and that’s because the opposition can’t press us as effectively when you have someone who is essentially a quarter back/very deep lying playmaker, playing. So we have to change that and not just with Torres coming back as we then become very reliant of him and as we saw with Joe, that’s a problem. The results have been very good and even recently, they’ve not been awful. But what i’m seeing is that recent performances over the last month or so have been pointing to the problems that manifested themselves in the last two home games. It’s not that we lost; it’s the way we lost, particularly the lack of threat which was very different to say, the consecutive home games last season to Leicester and Arsenal which could have gone either way. That definitely wasn’t the case against Newcastle and Chelsea. I have no doubt that Emery will sort it but it wouldn’t surprise me if we saw some significant transfers out in the summer. I think some of our players have been playing above themselves and so it could be a good time to sell whilst their stock is high.

I wouldn't say found out. I would argue he is limiting himself compared to last season though where we didn't know what he would be doing match to match and neither did the opposition.

I think your right re transfers I would be surprised if we didn’t see at least 1 big name departure I think FFP will mean we have to if we are to invest

What does found out even mean? The best managers in the world lose games. The best managers have bad runs. The best ones find a way to adjust and come out of it. We have been missing our best defender for ages, our in form LB and now the other top CB. It’s caused havoc with the way we play. So we’ve lost a couple of games. We will find a way to adjust. He’s always done that.

Found out means other clubs have found a way to consistently negate the way we play.

It's a reasonable enough question. I don't necessarily think we have, but it does make you think.

You are right about the way we play and havoc. For a start, Carlos is absolutely rubbish at playing the offside trap (which was the recent game when he stepped up when we were in their half?) - whereas Konsa and Torres can do it in their sleep.

Everton....should have cost us a goal but Martinez bailed him out. Maybe he will be ok tomorrow against Hojlund, he's a bit of a lump that isn't the quickest either.

Højlund is very quick as is their two wide players. Their only tactic against us is to play it early over the top and they’re pretty successful at it. I’m hoping Emery has us in a more pragmatic shape to counteract them.

Other teams will naturally learn to play differently against us.  My own opinion is that we need a bit more aggression in midfield and a bit more pace out wide, but other teams will soon learn to combat that as well.  We need better players as Unai is getting the absolute maximum out of what he's got.  Brilliant job so far but we will need to upgrade in several places as is the nature of the business.
