As for the Fulham training session, I'm in the never a red camp, a comical decision but an expected one. The penalty is whatever! Cash has done that multiple times before because he's a liability.

Had to agree with Don Hutchinson on co comm, that Cash bottled going for the cross in the first place when he saw it was Mitrovic behind him. But thought it a very harsh peno. He's not even looking at the ball, hits the back of his arm.

Aside from the penalty, Cash was even worse than Konsa at RB. Shocking.

This squad is at very best average. Yes Gerrard has got to go, but so have a large portion of this squad.

A new manager could get loads more out of this group.

But two managers/coaches, with contrasting characters and playing styles, have now failed to get anything from largely the same bunch of players

So what’s the common factor?

This is the view I'm increasingly coming too, it's been pretty poor fare since we came up and that's under 2 managers  and 3 maybe 4 different coaches. My Dad's been saying for almost 12 months now that the squad isn't good enough and he may well be right.

Allied to that, aside from de Bruyne's free kick hitting the bar against Citeh, we don't seem to have got a bit of luck in a game for ages now, quite the opposite tonight. It's like we're paying off some giant Karma balance for that "goal" that wasn't given against Sheff. Utd..

The league is pretty average and we may not be brilliant but this squad is far better than the shit we’ve seen so far.
