Gutted. Kamara is our best player and absolutely irreplaceable in our system. It was a huge mistake risking him against Spurs, there was a golden opportunity to rest him for once and give Bogarde some much needed experience. And guess what, we did win without Bouba which illustrates the point. If he's out for the season I can't see us getting top five. After his ACL we couldn't stop conceding goals till the end of the season, four clean sheets in 20 games? Often conceding two plus. The likelihood is that avery month he misses will cost us valuable points.
Why did we play such a strong team in a non priority cup risking such injuries?.
Quote from: Rigadon on January 16, 2026, 03:41:30 PMSo if he's out long term, and assuming it won't be deemed fair play to go and spend money on a holding MF, we have a promising young player and Barkley when he himself returns / gets match fit again (March?) to fill in.Onana likely back in training next week according to the boss. He'll stand in for him as soon as he's fit.

He wasn't injured because he was tired, it was because of a foul, could've happened anywhere including in training.
I'm not understanding this. The swelling would be under control enough by now for them to have done the MRI and know exactly what is up. We aren't hearing the full story here.

It could be that he feels well enough on the leg to train, but the medical staff won't give him any sort of all clear without extensive testing. Certain injuries require different types of treatment and they'll want to nail down exactly what it is before putting a number on it.
