I wonder if spurs  go down if we go for  gallagher  again? I really hope not as we look to have dodged one there

As shit decisions go, that one from Gallagher must be up there. Tottenham have lots of players that will have interest elsewhere if they go down. Gallagher's star will have fallen further but some mug south of the watford gap will go for him.

Van der Ven, Porro, Udogie, Kulusevski, Kuddus, Solanke, Madisson, Spence (maybe), Bergvall, Gray, Sarr, Simons , Odobert - most of these guys are a good age with loads of football left in them.

Why would you have Pau on the out list? He'd be the last of our centre backs I'd move on right now, in fact the only defender I'd be more reluctant to let go across the entire back 4 is Maatsen and that's purely on age.

I'd agree that we shouldn't be trying to sell him (and more importantly, I imagine Emery's only untouchables would be Kamara, Tielemans, Rogers and him so he's obviously not going anywhere), but if you could get £40m for him and bring in Senesi on a free it feels like the sort of squad management that we still need to do a bit of, to sort out our remaining financial stuff.

Not that we will though.

I would add the captain to the list of untouchables, I think this season has only further underlined that.

Yes, true. Him as well.

So, apart from Torres, Kamara, Maatsen, Tielemans, Rogers and McGinn, what did our players ever do for us?

I think the squad needs reshaping over the summer:  For me:

Martinez - I think this summer is the juncture where he goes.  Don't want him to, but think he does and will need replacing
Bizot -  fine back-up

Cash - had a decent season but can see his body is starting to creak.  Keep
RB - need a back-up with an eye on them replacing Cash going forward
Konsa - keep
Lindelof - keep
Torres - keep
Mings - sadly might be time to move Ty on and bring in a replacement
Digne - as with Martinez, happy to keep but this might be the time to replace

Kamara - keep
DM - Kamara being out has highlighted the need for a replacement DM.
Bogarde - not really taken his opportunity- might be time to cash in
Onana - keep
Tielemans - keep
McGinn - keep
Barkley - will have to keep if he's got another year, if not maybe move on

Rogers - dependent if a massive offer comes in that would fund the rebuild
Bailey - move on
Buendia - move on
Sancho - not worth the reported £200k a week

Watkins - as with Martinez and Digne - might be the time to move on
Abraham - only just signed

Big areas of investment for me would be the attacking right, number 10 and left sided (if Rogers goes) and CF positions.  If finances allow, we need some serious investment in those areas.
