Wood to score of course.

Mings for us.

1-1
So you are saying a goal and an assist for Mings?

I hadn't thought of that! But yes, it'll probably happen :D

The pre match Leeds thread was wildly over optimistic with some of the predictions. Good to see were back to normal.

I would shake things up a bit.

Konsa is suspended. Wasn’t impressed by Watkins, Mings, McGinn and Dougie midweek.

So this is what I’d do

          Martinez

Cash Hause Mings Digne

         Chambers

  Ramsay        Sanson/McGinn

Coutinho   Ings   Watkins

I don’t really like playing Ings and Watkins on the same side, but with Buendia out and Bailey maybe a week too early, I can’t see any other way of playing this right now. But obviously, moving players around a bit.

Chambers got a lot of accolades and plaudits when he was a DM for Fulham… I can’t see any reason why we wouldn’t play him there.

I think Newcastle will be up for it but also think they will be easier to play against than leeds were
St Max is obviously that big danger if he’s on one he will be difficult to contain

But we have our own players who if on there game can be just as dangerous
I’m actually more confident about getting a result against Newcastle then I was about Leeds even though I thought we would beat Leeds

2-4

9 Bournemouth Lions driving up for this. 4.30 start!. Our record up there is not great. Just no stupid early defensive mistakes please. Grow into the game and hopefully we can get a well overdue win.

Pushing Ramsey forward will inhibit what he does best, driving runs from midfield.

So its either freeing up McGinn and moving him further forward or Ollie out right. Ollie is better coming of the left but I wouldn't want the link up with Coutinho and Ramsey to suffer.

I quite like the idea of Chambers playing DM as Dougie certainly doesn't work in that position.

Our record up there is rubbish. Hard to think we've won twice at Old Trafford since our last win at SJP in 2005.

We've also not scored more than one goal up there since that year so along with Man. City our worst away ground for results these days.

Worry this will be similar to Brentford and we'll lose 2-1.
