Typically Traore has returned from the AFCON with a hamstring injury and will be missing for a few weeks according to SG!  The guy is never fit for Villa.
On the plus side Trippier is a big doubt for them with a calf injury...... Targett is ineligible for this.

I still don't rate Newcastle. To be fair they are still in the very early stages of their latest 'project' but we are still
ahead of them in that respect and I expect us to beat them.

When you look at the line up they put out against Everton, it is not exactly frightening. Maximin being the obvious exception.
An unbelievable exception
Have you seen this guy?
He's like Neymar, Mbappe, Grealish and Adama rolled into one!

You are definately on the wind up.
Watch him Sunday then
When he's flying he puts players on the floor by bamboozling and makes things happen
Granted he has some to improve but he's very talented and frightening to defend against

Trains are screwed, our player of the month is likely injured, they've started winning out of nowhere. FTFGFs.

I think we worked out that by putting 3 players on him, the rest of that team were unlikely to offer much.
Fantastic player.

Hes good, has stood out like a sore thumb in that team for the past 18 months. A hybrid of "Neymar, Mbappe and Grealish" he most certainly aint.

If Buendia is out, I'd move Mcginn into one of the 10's and play Sanson in midfield. I suspect it'll be back to Watkins as a 10 with Ings up front thouf.

Wood to score of course.

Mings for us.

1-1
So you are saying a goal and an assist for Mings?

Agreed on the McGinn/Sanson switch. Think that's McGinn's best position. If Gerrard tries Watkins/Ings paired together again then we have a serious problem. I don't think he will though, Watkins has been dreadful last two games so I'd be very surprised if Ings isn't given a start.

Big game for Sanson if picked. You can see he is a talented player but to play in midfield at this level you have to be able to physically compete for 90+ mins. Not sure if has that in him to be honest but only one way to find out.

I'm afraid this lot are going to dominating with Man City in 18 months. And probably have those 4 in the squad!

In related news I'm afraid that in 18 months Scarlett Johansson is going to make me sign a prenup before marrying me.

Everton mate who went said Newcastle lack quality, they just outworked them and took advantage of Townsend filling in at wingback.

They’ll be on a high, we score one on the break, they fall apart, we win 3-0.
F**.k them.
We may not win this, bit if we’re fearing this lot we have got a serious inferiority complex.
