I can’t find the argument for persevering with Olsen. He’ll likely be on decent wages yet if you look beyond some caps for Sweden (in competition for who for the number one spot is the question) his club career has actually been pretty poor at the highest level. The Roma move is the anomaly and they very quickly wanted him out with a series of uninspiring loans before we bought him. It would make much more sense to get him off the books and have a kid working with Martinez and playing some games. Even Nyland some great moments for us. Olsen’s only consistency is that he’ll ship goals and breed worry in his defence.

I wonder what absolute transfer genius signed him for Roma.

Dived before the penalty was taken too, that drives me mad about keepers.  Punched the 4th into the net.  He's poor and needs to leave for his own benefit. 

He is a journey man, played for a number of clubs. Can never be compared to Emi, but few if any can.
Difficult to get and keep a good number 2.

Very poor for the 2nd, came out too far to a ball he was never getting near and left himself in no mans land and even then the only place the guy could put the shot was where he did so a top keeper gets down much faster to block that space.

The 4th he just took too long getting his hand up to it.

Both of them showed that his biggest problem is his reaction time. With Emi everything feels instinctive so he's usually in the right place and then when needed his reflexes are exceptional, Olsen has neither of those and it makes him look really slow if you compare the 2.

Well you must be mad about 99% of keepers then. There is a reason why the ball goes one way and the keeper goes another in quite alot of penalties. Even the ones who save them state they have studied the taker and predicted which way they would take it so dived that way.

It looked like he was saying he was too slow in passing out the ball. Same with Luiz. Need more intensity. Which is exactly what happened after the injury break.

Just goes to show how fantastic Emi is as every time Olsen plays the defence goes missing and we are far more likely to lose and ship goals.

I honestly think that was his last chance and he blew it. 2nd goal was crap by him. Came out got it all wrong and i think emi stops that one. 4th i think it was unlucky but saveable.

For me needs to be moved and gauci now should be given the chabce if emi isnt fit. Olsens toast
