I honestly think that was his last chance and he blew it. 2nd goal was crap by him. Came out got it all wrong and i think emi stops that one. 4th i think it was unlucky but saveable.

For me needs to be moved and gauci now should be given the chabce if emi isnt fit. Olsens toast

He's played a game and a half this week and let 6 goals in. He's dire and shouldn't play again there is nothing else to prove .

The first was straight at him and he somehow dived out the way.

I thought he was adequate, didn’t do anything wrong, didn’t save anything he shouldn’t have.

He’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect a back up GK in team expecting to finish 6/7th, the problem is we all expect him to drop clangers, and that seems to include the players. So he’ll go in the summer.

Well I didn’t think my post was an overly enthusiastic endorsement of him but, what did he do that you wouldn’t expect a bog standard meat & two veg back up keeper to do?

Start with goal 2 . Everything goes through him. He's awful. Crap with the ball, no presence whatsoever, gives the whole backline the jitters . The kid we played in Bosnia is an upgrade . My Swedish mate from Sweden can't stand him either .

Good shot stopper now and again but that's about it. When we play out he invariably chooses the riskiest option, doesn't command his area, is indecisive and all round, looks less than a back up keeper.

He wasn't to blame individually for the defeat last night but his presence in the team, rather than being a stop gap for the Number 1 or safe if unspectacular option, is a regressive move.

Getting a good No.2 wasn’t a priority during the summer yet the fans knew it should have been. Go back to page 50-51!!

It’s unlucky that Emery needs to find out for himself at the “business end” of the season, but so be it.

I’m sure it’ll be addressed this summer. That’s part of building a team, piece by piece. Takes time..

The second goal was really saveable, the fourth goal was a deflection, so obviously more complicated but I still reckon most keepers would at least have got a hand to it.

I dunno, I feel bad for slagging him as he’s apparently, according to Emery, good around the club and much appreciated by the other players. He also does pull off the occasional decent save - the Palmer one obviously, and the one he made last night in the second half.

I also think he is much better with his feet than he used to be, but there’s no escaping the fact he’s just not reliable enough. I think the fact we concede so many goals with him playing - six in a match and a half this week as someone pointed out - well, it says a lot.

Emi instils confidence in the defence, whereas with Robin in goal, the play is slower, and I almost get the impression that the players have got one eye over their shoulder all the time, as they have little faith in him.
