There's so much to admire about Leon Bailey, but I just love the way he sees himself as part of a squad of players, both in the way he performs on the pitch, as starter or sub, and in the way he stresses the importance of the squad in his interviews. He's a smashing fella.

He's a pretty wholesome fella. Likely due to his interesting upbringing.

Still buzzin'
The interview he gave to Villa TV was a joy !

Also Bailey has seven goal contributions from the bench, more than anyone else in the Premier League!
Insight !

Helped changed the match on regular time. Wonder player
I’m glad the team won through for Bailey as much as anyone as he unfortunately had his pen saved but he’s still a great player!

I’m confident that we will get Diaby (back) up to Bailey’s levels.  Those two rotating is Man City levels of depth.

I think he's the perfect example of the kind of attitude you want from a player at Villa. It probably speaks to how respected Emery is too. Most players want to play for him, and they'll commit to the bigger project quite happily, even if it means being an impact sub, or lots of rotation.

I think Digne has been similarly admirable in his attitude this season. We were packing him off in September, he was brought back, and he's just got stuck in all season. Even when Moreno came back and it looked like he was going to get less playing time. But again, I think it's about Emery and the thing he's building.

Is he a penalty-taker for Jamaica? - I had him down as pretty reliable from the spot ...

The transformation in him since Emery came in is something to behold.

It wasn't the worst penalty, keeper made a decent save.
