And 9 assists. Only 44 players have done 10 goals and 10 assists in the Prem era (some like Salah in multiple seasons). There can't be many teams where two players have done it in the same season.

Edit: We would be the fourth with Arsenal having Carzorla and Walcott in 2013, Liverpool having Suarez and Gerrard in 2014 and City having Sane and Sterling in 2018.

Diaby is on 9 assists and 6 goals. It's not impossible, if he hits a purple patch.

Side note - Luiz is also on 9 goals. We could finish the season with 4 players in double figures, which is a massive improvement on last season.

If Diaby has that purple patch, we could have three players in double figures for Goals and Assists in one season.

If you go with all competitions rather than just league games (as we have with the 102 goals for the season stat) then the numbers are even more ridiculous:

Watkins Played 47 Goals 26 Assists 12
Bailey P 47 G 14 A 13
Luiz P 47 G 10 A 10
Diaby P 48 G 9 A 7
McGinn P 47 G 9 A 7

It's realistic right now that we could end the season with 5 players hitting double figures for goals and assists.

We've also had 16 different scorers in the league.

He played two of most outrageously brilliant passes today that Sid would bow down to, and he scored.

The boy is a fucking wizard.

I thought his pass to Rogers was actually bettered by Watkins pass for Diaby.

Sure he was going for goal  ;D

I preferred Bailey's to Rogers, love a defence splitting pass with the outside of the boot.

Yes, Bailey hit two absolute world class long passes yesterday. Sublime bits of skill to set up attacks.

To the tune of Redemption Song, Bob Marley and the wailers ...

Leon Bailey plays for Villa,
in the Premiership,
he's got a wicked left foot,
and he's fucking quick.

He was lightweight now he's made strong,
by the hand of Unai Emery,
now he's fighting like a lion,
triumphantly.

Won't you help me sing ...
Leon Bailey

It was, and i recall him doing something similar for one of the goals last day against Brighton last season.

You are Leon Bailey's dad , and I claim my fiver. To be fair , it's better than the current jingle we sing about him.

Not nearly enough sensationalism or superlatives to be Leon Bailey's dad.

Those are brilliant stats thanks for posting Paul.
