Have to persevere with Bailey.

I dont think we're narrow in the way insinuated. You'll notice at a number of junctures in games where we have 3 players stacked in a line wide, with no runners committing the opposition to spaces centrally. We invariably vacate the middle to go wide, but fail to overload, as we don't move in any particular pattern to create underlaps for example and if we do overlap, it's always, always a £30m winger or 10, passing it to a full back.

No, it's very deliberate.

Deliberate that they force wide and use the full back as the fulcrum. The patterns are there in every game. That's not coincidence. I don't think it works, but I also don't think it's a rabble either, it's a designed system that's failing.

The pattern of play as been consistent and SG has convinced himself that it will come good.
