Gerrard seems to be sabotaging his potential successor. Get rid of him now before he sells every winger at the club.

I reckon he'll end up going with three centre halves, mark my words. The full back obsession almost demands it.

We'll sell all our wingers and end up with 5 at the back, and if that bloody hairline ever receded you'd see the mark of the beast on his head.

I wouldn't rule it out. Literally the only thing left I don't dislike about him is his aversion to Satan's Formation.

If we got our money back and a quality replacement in, I'd be quite happy to wave him and his dad tarrah a bit.

Yeah let's get rid of all the wingers we have at the club, sounds sensible...

I like a winger as much as the next man, I just prefer ones who are good and not always injured.

He's had one lengthy injury, and he is good. Certainly better than any alternative we have at the club.

Two injuries. One from kicking the ball against Everton, the other from running a bit aginst Man City.

Well, regardless, he's fit now. And better than any out and out winger at the club.

Don't think I've been more excited at the prospect of buying a player to his distinctly meh Villa career since Tony Cascarino

I really did think though he might be a twat, N'Zogbia would be a good signing for us, lol.

I'll raise you a Mustapha Hadji. I still think that prick O'Leary didn't give him enough of a chance.

If Sancho and Bailey are anything to go by, the German league must be an absolute piece of piss.

Maybe Bellingham isn't all that either.....

Bailey has loads of promise.

His dad is a prick.

Succinct and to the point.

I really liked Kachloul, he even bought a piano off a H&Ver but we struggled to get a note out of him after the first ten games or so.

Again on Sunday he attempted something, fucked it up and as soon as there were a few groans in the crowd looked to suddenly get an injury. The ball unexpectedly came back to him and he sprang back into life.

I wonder if there is a mental issue as well as a physical one where he is very nervous about playing rather than inspired

Nervous.. seriously? He's the only one in the team that can dribble a ball with confidence and tries to create his own shot.

JJ is the one that looks hesitant or nervous to me. I haven't seen him dribble a ball more then 10yds this year - stark contrast to last season.
