Ajax are chasing Bailey and may catch him
They can offer the money for what we paid after they have sold Antony. We may be seeing Bailey leave which is discouraging.
Bailey's agent and dad comments are telling as he looks to engineer a way out for LB.

I'd be pretty upset if he left, but I can't blame him. Management here does not have a clue where we're going or how we get there.. and Ajax is a well-oiled machine. They allow Antony to fly up and down the flank in their 4-3-3 and Leon will surely flourish there.

If he goes, someone should be held responsible for poor recruitment. To bring in an out and out winger and not play with wings is malpractice.

Continuity went out the window when Jack Grealish left. We signed Danny Ings straight away and Deano tried and failed to fit him in. We have been rudderless ever since (not Ings fault). Bringing in Coutinho when we were already struggling to accommodate Buendia was more of the same.

Unfortunately when we sack Gerrard his replacement is going to want even more control in the name of avoiding a relegation battle. The cycle starts again.

It shouldn't have though. There's been poor management since Grealish left.

The team isn't really set up though to enable him to shine, as the passing and movement is engineered to get the full backs into the advanced position, meaning he isn't in a place wide to exploit and cut in.

I dont mind our full backs bombing on, but they're an auxiliary attacker. It's different when it's death by territory and pass with Man City.

You could see what an utter ****** his dad was when he signed. I just hoped he’d have been such a success that it wouldn’t have reared it’s head, well until 2 or 3 years on when big money was being offered by a CL club anyway.
