I would have expected Ian Taylor to be on it, maybe Platty.

If anyone wants to look up the details:

Application Number2025/02369/PA
Application TypeFull Planning
Site AddressAston Villa Football Club Trinity Road Aston Birmingham B6 6HE
ProposalExternal alterations to existing facade and associated works

That's just the one for the accessible access isn't it? Is it the one that was on SSC?

I'm like you though, I prefer to moan at the moaners. The third wave will moan at us for thinking we're better fans most probably.

I like to moan AND moan at other peoples' moaning.

Win Win.

Especially in the summer when there's no football to distract us. I'm going to start going on about Coopers Injury and Silhillvilla being twats again soon. Looking forward to it.

Do you think Coopers Injury and Sillhill Villa will ever return? You wouldn't think so, given the level of idiocy they displayed.

I actually quite like that awkward corner between the Trinty and Holte anyway - when people talk about a ground having character, it's features like that which wouldn't be recreated anywhere else.  In the US they went through a phase of having quirky spaces introduced into new stadiums to stop them all looking alike.  It's pastiche though and just feels gimmicky, whereas this is an actual physical restriction we have been forced to incorporate and make Villa Park what it is.

Indeed.

Yes mate, that’s the one. I’m not one to bother reading them but as it was posted on there today or yesterday I thought it might be relevant.

I like the painting thing
Never going to agree on all the players obviously, I’d have had Grealish on there but it looks well as it is

I’d definitely have had Grealish on there as well and now I’ll get my coat and retire to my lead lined bunker.

And Terry Weir should have been in the corner aiming his lens at them all .

As much as I had a real affinity to him, I'm not so sure Dean Smith should be on it ahead of Ron Atkinson
