Should have included Ross McCormack jumping over a fence!

I reckon Smith is there as another face for younger fans, plus he's the manager that started our journey from failing second tier side to CL contenders.

Ditto Vic Crowe

And Tony Barton.  Regardless of the circumstances,  he was the manager on our greatest night.

Make the most of it, we'll never get one once the Blunderdome is up and running.

Ian Taylor isn't on it, so it can piss off.

I'm going to put the tin hat on here, I love Ian Taylor but he was just a decent midfielder that happened to be a Villa fan as well.

Andy Townsend would be more justified as the last captain to lift a trophy.

He scored in a winning cup final game, which is more than Barry or Olaf did.

He was never a great player, but he was an extremely good player (probably under rated by most) and obviously a very good egg.

I mean, from a technical standpoint, you're absolutely right. But from an emotional one, you're very wrong. :)

He was a very good player but wasn't necessarily a fixture in what was a very good side.

Barry didn't match the winning cup final thing but played more than anyone else in the modern era, was always one of our best players at any point in that time and for many years was by far and away our best player.

Mellberg was a good lad and good player but I'll concede that one.

Should have included Ross McCormack jumping over a fence!
Genuinely think it would’ve been better if they’d gone down the line of painting Villa folklore. McCormack and the gate, Charlie Athersmith holding up an umbrella over Dalian Atkinson, some coppers having a kick about for the European cup in the background, the meeting under a gas lamp, Barry with a seagull on his head, Ramsey joining in a game of park football, the African Car Reverser, McGregor’s drapers shop, the Villa Chippy, … just make the whole thing a bunch of individual stories that people can actually point to and tell a young fan about them about.

No Captain. Leader. Legend. John Terry? Disappointed.

He will turn up full kit as the 3D animated option

That would have been quite funny if they had him full kit looking through a window.
