50k would feel a bit modest? I know it's not just about doing it for the sake of it, but surely we could sell that out comfortably for most games.

I just hope we don't get another Heck PR masterclass in killing the mood a couple of days before a season-defining match...
AFAIK, the requested upgrades are for a footpath tunnel to be placed under the railway at Station Road and for Witton to have exits down to the new bridge on either side (plus maybe bigger platforms). Anyone know how long it took to build the new bridge at over the Lichfield bypass during Covid times? In theory a only Witton station will lose service (although no direct access from Aston to Walsall) as there is a spur line between Perry Barr / Hamstead that joins the track into the other side of New Street.
