There is no way in the world they will build a 60,000 seat stadium. My guess would be a 30,000 seat ground initially, with room to expand in due to the unlikely event of it ever being required.
Man United pushing on with a 100,000 stadium. That's two and a half times our capacity. We are being really left behind by not expanding.https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c15gjpg98y0o
As much as i hate to say it, it looks like what Man U are doing is the right approach. Talk of 5,00 new homes, regeneration of the surrounding area, better connections to the city centre and Salford, local councils on board, social and economic benefits to the region and local area, all with a generous sprinkling of high profile "celebrities" thrown in for good measure. All a long way from Chris Heck and his approach of nah, we're supposed to be making more money not spending it.I think we're a long way off any stadium decisions being made.
Maybe tin hat time, ground share with them from muntz st
