The commentators were annoying me by harping on about Targett being lucky to stay on, while ignoring the fact that Klich was even luckier.

Can Sky get any further up Bielsa's bucket?  Apart from that one chance towards the end, I can't remember Leeds looking like scoring.

And I don't want to hear any more belly aching from Leeds fans about us diving after some of their theatrics tonight.  Wankers.

It’s the law that commentators can’t point out anything negative about Leeds whilst worshipping at the feet of St Bielsa...

The save by Martinez in the first half.

Yep. Also, at one point Konsa brilliantly controlled the ball and brought it out of defence under pressure, in a way that would have impressed Beckenbauer.  The commentators said something along the lines of how "it bounced for him". They also said Targett dived when you could clearly see he had already lost his footing, slipping on their allotment "football pitch".

Twats.

I'm still purring over Konsa's little shimmy in the box with about 15 mins to go.  Wins the ball, drifts between the attackers and plays the pass like it's no big deal.  Was like watching McGrath in his prime.

And he did it all in front of Southgate.  There is no way he wasn't impressed.

I think that was our first win at Elland Road since Southgate scored the winner there way back when.

It was. The commentator referenced that game in his commentary.
Christmas 2000 - Southgate and then Boateng scored the second before Leeds scored. I think Southgate scored both the previous season.
I was a bit surprised when they said that they haven’t done the double over us since 1976.
I was at both those games in the 1975/76 season. The away game on the Saturday before Christmas was pretty hairy. Very few Villa fans there and I was harangued by a Leeds fan all afternoon. I think the only reason I wasn't beaten up by him was that I was just a skinny teenager and he was a 30-something big fat Yorkshire pudding!

As soon as he facks awf they'll go back to being irrelevant.

Little was said about them on a national level when they had Redfearn and the other non entities managing them.

If he’s as bright as they make him out to be he will exit there in the summer, like Sheff U this year you lose the surprise / complacency element in season 2 & the fact is Raphinha/Phillips aside there is not a lot of class in that side

This may sound controversial but I think if Jack played tonight we might not have got the win. The way we set up tonight was to contain them and stop their slick pass and move game. With Jack there our mindset would have been different, more attack minded leaving space and holes for them to exploit. Jack obviously plays once fit but I like the energy and effort of that midfield. With the return of Jack Berti would have to drop down I think.
Agree with this. But I would still love it when he picked the ball up on the edge of our area, beat 5, chose to shoot rather than pick an easier pass, after leaving 3 Leeds defenders breakdancing. Then hit the keeper.

That must cause Deano more headaches than Jose will ever have migraines

I think Ayling is a very good player. The point is that he has turned a championship team into a side giving most PL teams a game with limited funds.
I don’t like Leeds but do not understand why It is necessary to slag off Bielsa.

10pts off 2nd place, with a game in hand and 14 left to play. 6pts off 4th with 2 games in hand.

This season may or may not work out, but as far as "transitional" seasons go it's a good 'un. Nice to be in the position we are at this stage of the season.
You are such a negative bugger. Why have you ignored our chances of toppling mancity?

That pitch is also terrible. I'm surprised a Premier League club have a pitch in such a state even though it has just been re-laid.

Back to being irrelevant? They’ve been absent from top flight football for 16 years.

It’s not slagging him it mocking the ridiculous hype & fawning around him which he doesn’t court I’m sure - he has done well (like Nuno, Wilder & even bloody George Burley before him) & tonight aside they have been great to watch but they are nothing special

What a recovery that Leeds player made when Ollie helped him up. Truly miraculous.
St.Watkins the great healer.
