I'm still purring over Konsa's little shimmy in the box with about 15 mins to go.  Wins the ball, drifts between the attackers and plays the pass like it's no big deal.  Was like watching McGrath in his prime.

And he did it all in front of Southgate.  There is no way he wasn't impressed.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he was there to watch Konsa

Also, 39pts now.  I'm going to go out on a limb here and call it John King / CNN style, and say Aston Villa will not be relegated this season.
Careful now big Sam has won two games so we may need 50 points.

Great to beat this bastards and good to see us looking strong. Nakamba, Mings & Martinez quality.

El Ghazi thinks he’s Ronaldo after a tap in

Leeds fans are apparently very pissed off and feel cheated by a boring, negative team. It’s the icing on the cake.

Revenge is a dish best served cold. Delighted for Anwar tonight, just a shame 3,000 fans weren't there to sing his name loud and proud.

I’d much rather win ugly away at Leeds 0-1 rather than smash them off the park 0-5 😎

Is this the first time we have recorded 12 wins in the top flight since 2010/11?

Which is shite, in it's own way, obv that we've had to wait so long.  But a clear sign of progress that we've done it so early this time.

That was good enough for 9th that year. Don't think we'll see that play out this season.

Which team are they pissed off with? The one in white had the creativity of a 2 year olds crayon drawing struck on the fridge

Mings and Konsa were superb and Southgate was there watching, they didn't do themselves any harm at all.   Nice goal from El Ghazi, great ball from Watkins.  Not a single player had a poor game, although our passing wasn't as crisp, which is odd, given we played on a potato field.  Great to see Dean shake it up a bit and he was rewarded with all of the midfield putting in a real shift.  Ramsay is going to be a very good player.  Chuffed with this as it gets us looking up the table rather than down at those who are just behind us.  Seventh away win of the season, is that the 13th clean sheet?  Impressive stuff.

The commentators were annoying me by harping on about Targett being lucky to stay on, while ignoring the fact that Klich was even luckier.

Yep. Also, at one point Konsa brilliantly controlled the ball and brought it out of defence under pressure, in a way that would have impressed Beckenbauer.  The commentators said something along the lines of how "it bounced for him". They also said Targett dived when you could clearly see he had already lost his footing, slipping on their allotment "football pitch".

Twats.
That was Bobby Mooresque by Konsa.
