I am too lazy to look it up ( and I'm pretty sure someone from this Parish will know ) , have Nakamba and Luiz ever played together in a league game for Villa ?

Pretty sure they did at a long forgotten horror show at Wolves last season...

Yes it was funny when ailing became Kate bush

Withering Whites?

Happy my good feeling about this game proved correct and that Dean shook things up. We've now got a few more options and a good opportunity to move up the table over the next few games.

I'm still purring over Konsa's little shimmy in the box with about 15 mins to go.  Wins the ball, drifts between the attackers and plays the pass like it's no big deal.  Was like watching McGrath in his prime.

And he did it all in front of Southgate.  There is no way he wasn't impressed.

I think that was our first win at Elland Road since Southgate scored the winner there way back when.

It was. The commentator referenced that game in his commentary.
Christmas 2000 - Southgate and then Boateng scored the second before Leeds scored. I think Southgate scored both the previous season.
I was a bit surprised when they said that they haven’t done the double over us since 1976.

The funny thing is that, if I had one criticism, it's that we remain a bit naive about the cynical fouls. There was a moment towards the end where McGinn was fouled on the right wing as he looked to break clear, and he spent the next three minutes complaining about it, like he was genuinely shocked that anyone would be so unsporting.

What a recovery that Leeds player made when Ollie helped him up. Truly miraculous.

The commentators were annoying me by harping on about Targett being lucky to stay on, while ignoring the fact that Klich was even luckier.

Very good defensive performance, because it wasn't backs to the wall, it was keeping them at arm's length fairly comfortably. Nobody had a bad game, and the only slight moan I have is that I wish we'd keep the ball better at times. And finally, when El Ghazi is on it, he's really fun to watch.

Jesus, I was at that game, I remember Boatengs break away goal and seeing the Leeds ground from the motor way. That is all.

Very professional performance.

Back 5 and Marvelous were superb.
McGinn and Ramsey ran their socks off. Sanson looked accomplished when he came on.
Watkins was his usual busy self and AEG was excellent.
Traore was the only slight disappointment for me today.

I'm still not a fan of man-buns.

Yes it was funny when ailing became Kate bush

Ha! Good description.

If, exactly 12 months ago, someone said to you that 12 months later we’d be 1 point behind Liverpool with a game in hand, last game day in Feb you’d probably be sectioned.

Robbie Keane's overhyped and utterly futile debut for them, that was. It would take him years to redeem himself.
