Surely he's out of the WC then?

Bit slow to catch up on all the threads here but no I think he'll be fine, 2-3 weeks in a splint and then heavy padding on it for training/games and it should be fine. Fingers recover pretty quickly normally.

Offside anyway but the two bits he had to do were class. He came out to collect, realised he was going over the goal line, released the ball and then recollected when safe, and the one handed stop from the point blank header.

I’ve changed my stance slightly.

He has to stay, he’s just too important.
He’s probably got 3 or 4 years at the very top, so bring a younger backup in to gradually take over.
Bizot is a great backup, but he’s not long term.
How promising is the young lad Wright? Could he be the one?
