Seems to be injured a lot for a goalkeeper.

I'm not doubting it, but it does seem unusual.

Wha gwarn lads.

Sums up not just him, but us as a team!

Huh, but we're 80% good and only 20% bad.

So he went off because of a calf injury? I love animals but leaving an important game to drive a vet to his farm isn't on.
But both his farm hands were at the match and they had paid to be there so he had no choice

Nah, that'll mean the narrative that they didn't deserve to lose will grow.
Plus Emi is cocky enough as it is without winning more personal accolades.

On Emi’s injury the other day at Palace

Unai Emery: "For him, it's easier to decide not to play, but he played. It was his choice to play the second half, but we decided to stop him."

He’s out tomorrow.

I wonder if he would have hoofed it long more if he wasn’t carrying a knock

Doesn't get enough credit for that save v Johnson in the first half. Made himself impressively big and tapped the shot over nicely.

Agreed, it was a very good save.

Commentator didn’t mention save, just a good attempt by Johnson, I thought it was excellent.

Matty Upson was taking up his usual position of commentary, which is from the perspective of anyone playing Aston Villa.
