What a silly boy.

He'll be off to the desert in January.

On the bright side, I don't think he's likely to throw his toys out of the pram.

Unless I've missed something, and that is always a distinct possibility, he's got no reason to has he? He wanted to go and it seems we would have let him.

No, you're right. I dunno, perhaps rather than toys / pram, I should have just said 'react badly' or whatever.

Tomorrow morning if he's still a villa player he needs to front it up, this squad needs to heal and pull together.

Bottom line is that he's is our player and our only competent keeper (Bizot looks woeful).  We need to show some backbone and tell him he's not going anywhere

As if anyone ever needs more of a reason to hate Man U.

If we weren't so up against it we should pull out of the Sancho loan and focus on Elliott.

There is absolutely no way he should be allowed to leave now even for Saudi.  We need him in goal simple as.

no chance... bizot's got the gloves now, until he makes a howler

He may not have made a howler as such, but he didn't give the impression of a decent goalkeeper last night.

A fully focused Emi stops the last two

Can't see him stopping Guehi shot -he still has time now. The other two are distinct possibilities.

He stops the second? I don't think he does, or anyone else.

FFS, how have we gone from Champs League to a repeat of pre 2016 shit (in the dressing room) in less than six months? If this is what being in that competition does to players egos then give me the unity of 2023/24 season any day and forget the CL.

Obviously we should not give him stick if and when he returns to the team. Simply not singing the 'World's Number One' ought to be sufficient.

He would've made no difference last night, he would've been swept up in the direness of it all.

If he stays with us there can be a reconciliation but it would be better if he left, Emery has a tough enough job as it is.
