See you next Tuesday.

I too might take a break until the transfer window closes.

We won’t let anyone else go without getting a suitable replacement. We are calling the shots on this one.

We’ve just signed Victor Lindelof mate we ain’t calling fuck all

Lol. True. C'mon Paul, don't be naive, we're little Villa.

If he wanted to leave, it might have been nice if he had let us know a bit earlier. Keep him. He won't be refusing to play with the World Cup next year. We have simply no time to get a suitable replacement and should not even be considering letting him go at this stage.

Nope agree unless it was an insane offer - which is more than £40m.

The one positive is that the way it's going we won't have to worry about UEFA financial rules next season.

I love him, but he fucked on the last day of last season and he's fucking us on the last day of the window. Cheers.

He was at my grandkids game today watching his own son play for one of the other teams there.

I wasn’t there but my step son, and one of the other mum’s who is a Villa fan who I am friends with have repeated the conversation in almost identical phrasing.

He confirmed that he is on his way, said he really doesn’t want to leave, but ‘that’s football now’.

I,was hoping for more than £40 mill - Man U are desperate!

How stringent are the fair play rules in the Championship?

Bullshit. We wouldn’t leave it until the last day to sell if we had the choice. Story doesn’t make sense.

I did wonder when people stated he was at the match as I thought our players stopped the night together at a hotel even before home matches.

Same here, I thought it was odd too.

Sad. And could have done without this today.

I'm not happy.

Rinse MU for all they're worth. £40m isn't enough.

He told us in January. We've crossed our fingers and hoped for the best since then.
