Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez for £45m, though the 32-year-old Argentina goalkeeper is believed to prefer a move to Manchester United. (Mirror)

I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts our season, but if he goes Lucas Chevallier (?) is my preferred replacement

Is he banned for three games?  I thought it was one game for a red card and only three when it is for violent conduct.

Not too bothered if Emi goes to be honest, Had an average season and that brain fart that gave us little or no chance of beating that load of crap in the last game was nothing short of ridiculous.

Agreed. His “not as good as before”, 7-8/10 is most keepers 10/10. He’s a magnificent keeper who gained us way more points than he lost. The standards he has set have spoiled us.

Whenever he eventually leaves the club he'll be sorely missed and virtually impossible to replace. One of our best signings ever imo.
