Maybe he was so pissed off with the powers that be and he was told before the Old Trafford game, we would be surplus to requirements, so he just didn’t give a monkeys anymore when he took out out Højlund. It was certainly a loss of control in his head.

My tin foil hat theory was that we'd told him he'd be going nowhere if we qualified for the Champions League again.

Are we going to look back at this in 10 years like the MON teams

Probably yes.  But that's not a reason to assume its already over.

The optimist in me strongly believes that the current set-up will grow the whole club - making everything more sustainable - whereas MON only focused on immediate results (and his reputation).  Randy was well meaning but had no clue how to run a club.

The sustainability is probably the aim but UE wields considerable power and the whole club is geared to his wishes. The fallout has the potential to be huge when he leaves.

Just seen an article that stated Emi is banned for Man United’s first 3 games.

Wrong about his current team and the number of matches he's missing then.

But you're just posting what everyone else has been taking about.

Fuck me clampy, yeah we get it You don’t think there’s anything in it as there’s no real evidence so there’s no need to panic as you’ve stated before

But there’s no need to be such a massive twat about it

Julien Laurens (a more credible journo with connections in France) says we’ve contacted Lille about their keeper. Sky say that Monaco have contacted Man Utd about Onana. Emi crying last home game of the season…I mean, it’s obviously not all verified but the signs are there.

Our goals against during the last two seasons has been our Achilles heel.  I suspect it would be a shitload worse if it had not been for Emi's bailouts.

Yeah Laurens is a proper journalist and we're not looking at Chevalier as a backup, so it's very likely to me we've seen the last of Martinez in a Villa shirt.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s off. I’d be slightly surprised it’s to Manure, but if he wants to go so be it. Doesn’t tarnish his legacy for me and hopefully we’re timing it right.

I agree. He remains a hero.

There’s a pretty good chance that this is being instigated by Villa to solve the wage problem, and Emi is the fall guy.

And there’s only so many teams that can afford his current wages, sadly Man U are one of them.
