What's wrong with posting about Emi Martinez in the Emi Martinez thread? Why do you have to be abusive with every post? It's not a good look.

Is Lunin any good? Being Real Madrid no. 2 (especially with Courtois in front of you) is hardly shaming. And it'd be cool to have a Ukrainian player.

A bit ropey in the few games I've watched him.

Replace the names Lunin and Courtois with Olsen and Martinez - not that I know anything about Lunin, but just because someone is number 2 to a great player doesn't make them good themselves

Just when I thought the forum was returning to normality, the word salad gimp reappears.

A genuine thought is as much as we love him will he (Dibu) get any better?  Maybe he has had his zenith and it is time to sell and move on? We would never get a better price though!

Not sure he would fit in the Saudi lifestyle and surely it would effect his National team status by playing in a false, manufactured league?

Most modern keepers are pretty decent with their feet but Emi is exceptional

I think he played most of last season when Courtois was injured and did pretty well then he made a few high profile mistakes, in Europe, from memory and dropped back down to reserve.

I’m not sure Emi is exceptional with his feet. He’s decent, but it’s not the strength of his game. We need him to be at his imperious best again for the last two games.

Can he not do it for the last 3.

I think his confidence is a big thing - he doesnt get nervous so isnt forced into making mistakes - they just happen when they happen.

Garcia, Gauci, Zych, Emery ...

Everybody's talking about top keepers!

Made me larf (assuming I haven’t invented a reference that was never there...)

March off Ollie and Emi to Al-Suckers for £120M, job done on PSR for a couple of seasons.
Malen gets regular starts next season and pick up Sels from the Forest for about £20M.

I can't get the clamour for Malen over Watkins. Donny is grand but he was a bit-part player at a club in turmoil and his finishing isn't any better than Ollie's. Watkins is better off the ball and assists like Billy-o.

It's hard to judge Malen either way as he hasn't had too much football but I have largely liked what I have seen.

Insane take to want Sels after one good season behind a really unadventurous defence, though.
