On certain words the Canadian accent is pretty Scottish sounding.

Me grandmother lived in Canada as a child, and it was apparently full of Scots at the time. I'm not sure why, but imagine it might have something to do with the whole "not banning booze" thing, unlike their ridiculous neighbours.

Ask the Earls of Sutherland and their bastard ilk.

I thought it was the 'bastard elk' that were a problem in Canada?

That must be the inspiration for “There’s a moose loose about this Hoose” (Hoots Mon). Bastard Elk doesn’t quite work does it?

My fave 2 are the dance towards the scum at Mold Trafford when Ratman missed his pen and the Pen taker in South America when he put him off by saying "I'm going to eat you"

Wonder when he eventually retires, he'll become football's first official Shithousery Coach?

I saw a stat that he's won 3 trophies with Argentina and has only lost 2 games.

Yes, astonishing stat.

Also about 28 clean sheets in 41 Caps.

Apparently not selected for their Olympics squad, and Geronimo Rulli is going as their overage goalkeeper.
