In news where water is declared wet, and taxes and death are deemed inevitable, Emi kept another clean sheet for Argentina vs Bolivia.

Emi Fucking Martinez. Complete bonkers. Raced the length of the pitch to celebrate the third. Love him

That save when Eze tried to lob him turned out to be massive.

I want him to cuddle me to sleep at night. Then I will feel safe.

Hopefully there'll be no more impressions of his previous manager.

He's not on his top form but he's still better than just about every other keeper out there. It would him to have a defence and midfield in front of him, especially away from home.

He was iffy tonight but if anyone has earned a get out of jail free card, it is Martinez.

The third goal he conceded tonight was reminiscent of the Saudi winner against Argentina in the group at the World Cup and that turned out OK in the end.

If we're looking at the third goal we might care to wonder why three defenders couldn't prevent a lone striker from getting his shot away.

Spoiler alert: maybe one of them could have tried to close him down, with the others on cover.

He must have wondered what the fuck Konsa and Chambers were doing for that third last night, he got a hand to it but there was no way he could have kept it out.
